Some Thai celebrities work in the Thai entertainment business because of their managers but some joined the contest looking for new stars before turning to be actors.

1. Mik Thongraya
The actor joined 2 contests before started working in the Thai entertainment business. Firstly, he joined Dream Star Search in 2008 and won the contest. Then, he signed the contract with Speed One Acting House which Yui Chiranan and Au Navapon were the owners.
In 2009, he joined another contest created by Thai Channel 7 and won the contest again. After that, he signed the contract with Thai Channel 7 and turned to be an actor.
2. Art Phasut
The actor joined the contest Male Star Challenge created by Thai TV3 before signing the contract with the channel.
3. Toey Pongsakorn
Toey Pongsakorn joined The Idol Project 2 in 2011 and won the contest. In 2013, he played a drama ‘Khun Chai Ratchanon’ but it was just a supporting role. In 2015, he turned to be a leading actor in a new drama ‘Bang Rajan’.
